Norton 6th Grader Wins MLK Jr. Essay Contest
Isabella Pyo, grade 6, at Norton Elementary School won the 2024 Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest sponsored by Congressional District 5! Isabella attended an event held at the Afro American Culture Center at Yale and was recognized by the Cheshire Board of Education.
Highland Awarded 2024 Outstanding School Culture and Climate
Highland Elementary School was presented the 2024 Outstanding School Culture and Climate award by the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS). In recognition of the school community’s shared success in building an environment where all members feel valued, engaged, supported and safe.
50th Annual Cheshire Food Drive
Representatives from the Cheshire Food Drive presented Dr. Solan with a plaque in recognition of the support of the Cheshire Public Schools community.
